TORONTO — A Canadian father has learned how to keep his baby safe from catching the flu in the time it takes to read this article.
According to CBC Toronto, father Andrew Pugh told CBC Toronto that he had a daughter about a year and a half old who has been diagnosed with the flu and it is a real problem.
“She is having trouble sleeping, and she has had to have her hair cut every other day and have it changed every two days,” Pugh said.
“I just thought, why don’t I try and take care of her for a bit?”
When I got home, she had an awful cold, and I started putting her on antibiotics, and within three days, I was able to take her to the hospital and she was well enough to go home.
“His daughter has since recovered and is getting a flu shot.
Pugh, who is also the father of two, is hoping to raise awareness of the pandemic and the importance of vaccination.
